Turkey thighs are the unsung hero of the poultry world, and this BBQ recipe proves exactly why.

Skin-on thighs bake in a sticky glaze of chili sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire, and mustard that caramelizes into something deeply savory with a hint of sweetness. The meat practically falls off the bone after an hour in the oven, basted in its own juices.

Seven ingredients. One pan. The kind of low-effort, high-reward dinner that earns a permanent spot in the rotation.

Pro Tips

  • Start the thighs skin-side down for the first 45 minutes so the meat absorbs the sauce, then uncover to crisp the skin at the end
  • Baste every 10 minutes once the foil comes off for maximum glaze buildup
  • These reheat like a dream; pull the meat and toss it on sandwiches, over rice, or into tacos

Cover the dish with aluminum foil.

Bake for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking, basting occasionally with the sauce, until the thighs are tender, about 15 to 25 minutes.
