This is a proper Christmas pudding, steamed for two and a half hours until dense and deeply flavored, with a warm butter sauce that turns the whole experience into something unforgettable.

Directions

Mix pudding in order given. Dissolve soda in water.

Steam 2½ hours.

Mix sauce and simmer a few minutes.
