2 hrsThese bars are pure comfort food nostalgia in every pink, pillowy square.
Strawberry Jello gets dissolved in boiling water, then stirred together with sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice, frozen strawberries, and a mountain of miniature marshmallows. Fold in freshly whipped cream and pour the whole thing over a buttery graham cracker crust.
Two hours in the fridge and you’ve got a dessert that’s somewhere between a mousse and a marshmallow cloud, with just enough tang from the lemon juice to keep it from being one-note sweet.
Cut into squares and watch them vanish from the pan.
Kitchen Tips
- Use frozen sliced strawberries straight from the package; they help cool the Jello quickly and release juices that intensify the berry flavor
- Fold the whipped cream in gently to keep the chiffon texture light and airy
- Line the pan with parchment paper for easier lifting and cleaner cuts
