55 minSmoked turkey sausage meets a sweet and savory stir-fry sauce, and the result is weeknight gold.
Sliced sausage browns in the skillet first, then crisp-tender mixed vegetables get tossed in with a glossy sauce made from soy, brown sugar, ginger, and cornstarch. The sauce thickens and coats everything in a sticky, fragrant glaze.
Pile it over hot steamed rice and dinner is on the table in under an hour.
Chef Tips
- Slice the sausage on a slight diagonal for more surface area and better browning
- Keep the vegetables moving in the pan so they stay crisp, not mushy
- Mix the cornstarch slurry smooth before adding to the skillet or you’ll get lumps
- Swap in broccoli, snap peas, and water chestnuts for a more traditional stir-fry feel
