Chicken Parm doesn’t need to be an all-day project. This streamlined version gets you crispy, cheesy, saucy chicken in half an hour flat.

Breasts get coated in seasoned breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan, then browned quickly in olive oil until they’re golden and crunchy.

A spoonful of Italian-seasoned tomato sauce goes on top, followed by a blanket of shredded mozzarella that melts into a stretchy, bubbly layer.

A final hit of Parmesan on top and it’s done. Serve it with spaghetti or a simple green salad and call it a win.

Directions

On wax paper combine bread crumbs and ¼ cup grated.

Dip chicken breasts first in egg and then in bread crumb mixture until well coated.

Heat oil in a large, heat-resistant, non-metallic skillet over high.

Quickly brown coated chicken pieces on both sides.

In a small bowl combine tomato sauce, Italian seasoning and spoon tomato sauce over chicken.

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the tomato Heat, loosely covered with wax paper, in Microwave Oven 5 to 6 minutes. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and heat, uncovered in Microwave Oven an additional 30 seconds or until cheese is melted.
