Banana slices rolled in honey and crunchy granola for a 5-minute no-cook breakfast or snack. Freeze them for a grab-and-go treat that tastes like banana ice cream.

Three ingredients, five minutes, zero cooking. Slice bananas into thick rounds, roll each one in honey, then press into granola so the crunchy bits stick to the sticky surface.

The honey acts as both sweetener and glue. It grabs onto the granola and locks it in place so you get that satisfying crunch in every bite instead of granola falling off everywhere.

These work just as well frozen. Pop the coated slices on a parchment-lined tray, freeze until solid, then transfer to a bag. Frozen, the banana turns creamy and almost ice-cream-like while the granola stays crunchy on the outside. Kids go wild for these as an after-school snack.

Kitchen Tips

  • Use ripe but firm bananas. Overripe ones are too soft to hold their shape when rolling.
  • Warm the honey slightly if it’s thick so it coats evenly.
  • Spread granola on a plate for easier rolling and more even coverage.
