This comforting chicken dish starts with breasts that get dipped in egg, coated in seasoned flour with paprika and poultry seasoning, then pan-fried until golden.

After browning, the chicken simmers gently in a light lemon-chicken broth sauce that keeps everything moist and infuses citrus flavor into every bite.

The sauce thickens with leftover flour mixture into a silky gravy, then gets finished with toasted sesame seeds sprinkled over the top for nutty crunch.

Directions

Wash chicken and pat dry. Beat egg and water. Combine next four dry ingredients. Dip chicken in egg, then flour. Brown in oil. Add remaining ingredients except sesame seeds. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove chicken. Thicken liquid with leftover flour mixture. Pour sauce over chicken and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
