Submitted by Rhonda Kay
Cream cheese and Spam whipped with salsa, Worcestershire, and cayenne, then loaded with crunchy bell pepper, celery, and cilantro. A retro party dip that always gets finished.

1 hrsLook, nobody’s putting Spam on a pedestal at a fancy dinner party. But at a game day spread or a backyard potluck? This dip is the one people crowd around.
Softened cream cheese gets beaten smooth with diced Spam, a splash of Worcestershire, salsa, and a hit of cayenne. Then chopped bell pepper, celery, onion, and cilantro fold in for crunch and freshness. Chill it for an hour and serve with crackers, chips, or veggie sticks.
It’s salty, creamy, a little spicy, and completely unapologetic.
Pro Tips
- Dice the Spam small or pulse it in a food processor for a smoother dip. Larger chunks give it a chunkier, more rustic texture.
- Make it a day ahead. The flavors meld and the dip firms up nicely overnight in the fridge.
- Swap in pepper jack cream cheese spread if you can find it for an extra layer of heat.
