A chocolate graham cracker crust gets drenched in sweetened condensed milk, then piled high with semi-sweet chocolate chips, butterscotch chips (or peanut butter chips if you’re feeling wild), shredded coconut, and chopped nuts. Press it all down, bake it, and try to wait for it to cool before cutting.
They’re gooey, crunchy, chewy, and absolutely unstoppable. The kind of bar cookie you bring to a game day party when you want to be everyone’s favorite person.
Kitchen Tips
- Press the crust firmly and evenly. A loose crust crumbles apart when you cut the bars.
- Pour the condensed milk as evenly as possible over the crust. It’s the glue that holds everything together.
- Press the toppings down firmly before baking so they stick instead of scattering.
- Chill the bars before cutting for the cleanest slices. A warm bar will crumble and smear.
