1 hrsThis apple-sausage oven pancake is what happens when you want pancakes but can’t be bothered to stand at the stove flipping.
Bisquick batter gets stirred together with milk, egg, cinnamon, and chopped apples, then poured into a baking dish.
Browned sausages go right on top, and the whole thing bakes in a hot oven until puffed and golden.
Pro Tips
- Brown the sausages first as directed on the package so they’re fully cooked when the pancake is done
- Beat the batter with a hand mixer until smooth so there are no lumps of Bisquick
- Serve immediately with maple syrup while the pancake is still puffed; it will deflate as it cools
