18 minWhat happens when taco night crashes into pizza night? You get this gorgeous, golden calzone stuffed with all your favorite taco fillings.
Pizza dough gets rolled out, spread with a layer of cheese sauce, then loaded up with seasoned taco beef, sliced olives, and green onions on one half.
Fold it over, crimp those edges tight, prick the top, and bake until the crust is puffed and golden while the filling inside turns into a molten, meaty, cheesy pocket.
It bakes in under 10 minutes and makes a single serving that feels like a personal-sized fiesta.
Pro Tips
- Seal the edges well. Press and crimp firmly so the filling doesn’t leak out during baking. A fork works great for this.
- Prick the top generously. Those fork holes let steam escape so the dough puffs up evenly without bursting open in weird places.
- Serve with taco sauce and sour cream on the side. The calzone is good on its own, but a dip takes it over the top.
